Colleyville is a residential city in northeast Tarrant County, home to 26,057 people at the 2020 Census. It was called Bransford until 1914, when it took the name of a local grocery owner, and it grew largely because DFW Airport sits next door. Almost every home here is owner-occupied: 95.8% of occupied units in 2020, one of the highest shares in the metroplex. That usually means full houses with years of belongings, not quick apartment moves. State Highway 26, signed as Colleyville Boulevard, cuts through the city from southwest to northeast at 45 mph, while city streets are posted at 30 or 35 mph, which matters when a full-size moving truck is working a residential block. Most students attend Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, with Keller ISD covering the northwest corner. Green Van Lines has moved families out of Dallas–Fort Worth to other states since 2007 and was the first eco-friendly moving company in the US. Colleyville is about 19 miles west of our Farmers Branch base.
